Taking our inspiration from our range of adult mountain bikes, we created a proper off-roader in miniature for the young ones. The CUBIE 180 SLX is every inch a real, junior mountain bike, equipped with front and rear V-brakes that are easy for small hands to operate. The chain guard keeps the transmission concealed, and the Schwalbe tyres are just like the ones on mum or dad's mountain bike. Designed to be both fun and safe, this bike has passed all our in-house safety tests with flying colours.Youngsters may be small, but they can be tough on their bikes. That's why we've given the CUBIE 180's frame and fork the same careful attention as our adult frames. Constructed from light and sturdy 6061 aluminium, this bike is easy to ride yet robust enough to handle plenty of youthful energy and the occasional mishap. It's a stripped-down version of a real mountain bike, built to withstand the adventures of young riders.
