Strictly designed for racing, SES 45 AR Rim graced the wheels of the Team Dimension Data for their Spring Classics campaign, demonstrating just how highly esteemed this product truly is.
The increased tyre clearance for disc frames employed by the SES 45 AR Rim has allowed ENVE to take an unconventional approach to design. By creating specific front and rear rim shapes, management of airflow around wider tyres is vastly improved, reducing flow separation significantly.
ES 45 AR Rims are available as either tubeless clinchers or tubular model rims. Through the use of ENVE's hookless bead design, aerodynamic performance is significantly increased, providing real-world gains in rolling resistance, traction, and comfort, as well as reducing the chance of flats.
Every ENVE rim is made by hand using raw uni-directional carbon at ENVE headquarters in Utah, USA. This bespoke construction process utilises rim-specific carbon laminates, moulded spoke holes, and a stunning paint-free finish, maximising the strength and stiffness of the rim while reducing weight.
The SES 45 AR Rim is a disc brake specific design, suitable only for tubeless tyres and cannot be used with regular tubes.
