The Verve+ 1 has it all, including the Which? award for Best Buy Electric Bike 2023. The Verve+ 1 is a versatile e-bike and a great all-rounder. Whether you're commuting, traveling around or fitness training, the Verve+ 1 is a great option. Critically it also comes at a great price given the specification, which include front suspension forks, ergonomic touch points, hydraulic disc brakes, wide, stable tyres, and front and rear lights.
The bike comes with a Bosch Active Line (250 W, 40Nm) motor capable of sustaining speeds up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe), and a Purion controller (which benefits from a Walk Assist feature that helps you push your bike out of steep car parks and other inclines). There are three battery options: 300 Watt Hours (WH), 400 WH or 500 WH. Naturally the bigger the number, the bigger the range, however if you're using your bike for short journeys and have the option of charging more regularly then the 300 or 400 WH might be a better option for you, and certainly cheaper.
The electric system for the bike is provided by Bosch, an industry leader, so you can ride safe in the knowledge that the battery is fully safety approved. It is a mid/crank drive system, which we would always recommend over front or rear hub systems.
